This week, we’ve introduced the wonderful Ozobot to TK and Kindergarten classes, and will be rolling it out for older students in the weeks ahead. Ozobot is a small robot that follows colored lines, changing color based on the line it follows and reading ‘color codes’ that tell it to turn, change speed, jump lines and more.
In our Kindertech class, younger students are challenged to create lines the ozobot can follow, and produce maps and diagrams that would help a robot perform various functions in real life. Students this week created maps and a layout of a restaurant for a robotic server to serve food in. At the end of the class, we put our creations together and watched all of the Ozobots follow the lines together.
