Digital Dragon Video Game Design class

FRIDAY

April 7, 2017

Ages: 7-14

Description: Have an idea for a great video game? You’ve come to the right place! Scratch, a simple, easy to use programming tool invented by MIT, lets young designers with little to no programming experience create simple games that incorporate their own artwork and sound effects. Make a Ping-Pong game with your face as the ball! Make a platformer with levels inspired by your own house. Turn your favorite pet into the main character! Advanced students can connect their games to the real world with Makey Makey, which turns any conductive object into a controller for our game!
