Summer eLive Camp – Minecraft Redstone Engineering
Online from the comfort of home!
Ages: 8-12
Tech Requirements: An Apple (MacOS) or PC (Windows OS). Chromebooks/tablets/smart phones will NOT work. The use of a computer mouse, not a laptop trackpad, is strongly recommended. JAVA Minecraft Edition will be used for this camp, you will need to install and download in advance and create an account if you do not already have one. Please note, an account for Minecraft Pocket Edition, or the Minecraft mobile app edition, xBox or Bedrock, will not work. All tech set-up instructions will be sent out after enrollment.
Camp Description: Impress your friends by using code to control time and weather, and spawn creatures and dimensional portals! This course is designed for Minecraft users to hone their Redstone-powered projects. Engineers will learn coding principles through mastery of Minecraft commands and command blocks. They will make obstacle courses and timed traps, automatic secret doors, and more expert-level creations.
