Become a computer programmer by learning one of the most popular and versatile programming languages in the world — Java! Java has been used in everything from vending machines to modern smartphones, and it’s a great foundation for learning other programming languages as well. In this course we’ll cover the basic syntax rules of the Java language as well as fundamental computer science concepts such as variables, functions, and even object-oriented programming. We’ll start off by creating simple text based desktop applications but quickly evolve to 2D graphics based games and simulations. Java is famous for being cross-platform and can run virtually on any computer. With just a little knowhow you can quickly create almost anything you can imagine!
